Accommodation Fwd cabin has a V-berth with infill creating a huge double berth - 2.2 m (7 feet) wide at head. At the foot of the berth is an open stowage area with a large full-width cupboard above. Bookshelves stretch both sides of the berth. Two bunk lights & two deadlights provide ample light & there is a fan. Huge stowage area underneath. There is a large hatch above the berth for ventilation and handling

Aft & to port is a spacious, formica-lined head with manual toilet, vanity with cupboards underneath & two large cupboards; one a wet locker & the other with shelves. A ten-litre self-contained shower system in the head drains into a sump with pump. The head is ventilated by a hatch & a dorade vent. Opposite across a hallway are two full-height storage lockers with shelves.
The saloon has an L-shaped settee to port & another 2 m settee to stbd. Against the fwd bulkhead is a diesel heater gravity- fed from a header tank & set on a s/s hearth. The elegant table is mahogany. Above the port settee is a liquor cabinet & wide bookshelf. To stbd is a large locker, a smaller storage cupboard & a shelf. Behind the settee is an extensive bulk storage area accessed from the side or from above. Six lights & a hatch keep the saloon well lit & ventilated.
The galley, to stbd of the companionway, has a two-burner gas stove with grill and oven (new 2004), single sink, foot-pumps for fresh & salt water & pressure filtered fresh water. Three deep, pull-out boxes create easy accessible pantry stowage & there is good stowage for crockery, pots & utensils. The freezer is in the bench top. Night-light, fan & fire blanket are all convenient. A crawl space aft of the galley gives access to the engine & has stowage for engine & watermaker spares. The 750W/ 240V inverter is mounted here & a PUR powersurvivor watermaker (5 litres per hour) is installed at the after end of this compartment.
Opposite the galley (to stbd of the steps) is the large chart table with stowage under the lid for up to 70 charts. A front-opening refrigerator is below & electronics, switchboard & instrumentation above. There is good lighting, including nightlight & sockets for 12 & 240volts. The stbd quarter berth is a small double with opening hatch at its foot.
Overall the interior is white with mahogany trim. With headroom of six feet in the galley and seven feet in the saloon. & plenty of windows & hatches it is airy & spacious. Upholstery is mid-blue velour.
On Deck The anchor locker opens onto the foredeck & is compartmented to separate two anchors & rode. It also holds fenders, a chain scrubber & snubber. This area has rubber nonskid mat for safety. The rest of the foredeck is flush with one large hatch and two dorade ventilators. The dinghy stores here on passage. At the base of the mast is a s/s rack designed to store four 10-litre jerry cans for extra water. There are two Murray winches on the mast & the spinnaker pole is stored on the front of the mast. A jockey pole stows on the deck.
Above the hard dodger a robust s/s bar supports the boom and provides a sturdy handhold when leaving the cockpit. The hard dodger has good visibility with two hatches for ventilation. Rainwater is collected off the top by connecting hoses to the built-in drains. There are shade covers for all dodger & cabin windows.
The cockpit is sheltered from wind & rain by a canvas bimini with zip-on sunshade sides. Leecloths provide further protection & privacy. Two 40W solar panels are mounted above the bimini & are able to be tilted to maximise output. A solid s/s handrail runs around the cockpit. Inside the cockpit, the tiller folds away for maximum space both while at anchor & while steering with tillerpilot or the Aries windvane.The windvane.The cockpit is 2.2 metres long and is a pleasant place to sleep in the tropics. Perfect for sundowners with friends when the cockpit table is set up. On the aft deck, lockers on either side contain three 4kg gas bottles & outboard fuel. A hatch on the aft deck between them access a large lazarette.Two sheet winches are set either side on the cockpit coaming & winches port and stbd of the main hatch handle mainsheet, reefing lines & topping lift.
